Jon Shaw combines various drawing and painting techniques to create fun images of urban structures. He is interested in how time passes in the city and how buildings, signposts and other objects decay and evolve. This painting of the Sun Tower in Vancouver represents a building that used to be the tallest building in the commonwealth, and now sits humbly amongst tall glass condos.
